Supporting struggling young people takes all kinds of different skills – some of our team work directly with vulnerable children and their families, while others keep an eye on our administration, help us raise money, plan our events, or keep our finances on the straight and narrow.
Whatever you’re good at, there’s a place for you in the east to west team.

Chief Executive Officer
Do you have a heart of compassion for children, young people and families? Are you devoted to a vision of seeing vulnerable lives finding hope? When you picture an organisation do you see a diverse community being nurtured into their calling? Would those who know you describe you as a person of integrity? Is your leadership style selfless, do you desire only the best for those you serve? Are you fun to be around, does the energy go up when you enter the room?
If so then maybe you could be the next Chief Executive of east to west.
east to west is based in Egham, Surrey and journeys with over 1,200 children, young people and families each year through 18 exceptional team members. The board would like to invite servant-hearted, open-handed leaders, whether you’ve been a CEO before or not, to explore if you are to become part of that journey, enabling east to west to grow into the next phase of bringing hope to young lives.
Reporting to: Chair of Board
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hrs pw
Responsible for: 18 paid team + 7 volunteers (currently due to COVID restrictions)
Financially responsible: £400k
Direct Line Management: Head of Operations & Finance; Head of Income & Communications; Head of Schools
This role will largely be based in Egham, Surrey where east to west's offices are located.

east to west are seeking to recruit new trustees to join our team. You must have a desire to bring hope to young lives, be an active member of the local church family and willing to commit to 4 trustee meetings each year as well as engage with our team when and where you can.
As we head into 2021, east to west are looking to strengthen the trustee board and have a particular need for people with an HR and/or legal background. We also view this as an excellent opportunity to grow the diversity within our team, broadening and developing our mixed range of experiences and skills. Relational Support Worker - Everest Community Academy (Basingstoke)
Start date 23rd August 2021
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at east to west, working within the Everest Community Academy (a Secondary School in Basingstoke)
Working alongside the Schools Senior Leadership Team and operating as part of The east to west Trust, you will operate in a highly relational way with young people who are facing a wide range of issues, supporting them as they grow in resilience, developing coping strategies and improve their mental health & wellbeing. This enables each young person realise their potential, cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively and fruitfully, and make a positive contribution within their community
The role at Everest Community Academy offers the opportunity to work both in a 1:1 setting and run small group work around specific issues and themes. You will also uphold and fully engage with the organisational mission & ethos of east to west.
The position is for 18 hours per week shared across three days (based in the school) with a further 2 hours per week allocated for team/personal development – this is normally delivered every fortnight on a Wednesday.
