Supporting struggling young people takes all kinds of different skills – some of our team work directly with vulnerable children and their families, while others keep an eye on our administration, help us raise money, plan our events, or keep our finances on the straight and narrow.


Whatever you’re good at, there’s a place for you in the east to west team.


We don’t have any official volunteer posts – we usually start with your skills and availability and go from there. So if you’re keen to give your time to east to west then we’d love to hear from you.


Chief Executive Officer

Do you have a heart of compassion for children, young people and families? Are you devoted to a vision of seeing vulnerable lives finding hope? When you picture an organisation do you see a diverse community being nurtured into their calling? Would those who know you describe you as a person of integrity? If so then maybe you could be the next Chief Executive of east to west.


east to west is based in Egham, Surrey and journeys with over 1,200 children, young people and families each year through 18 exceptional team members. The board would like to invite servant-hearted, open-handed leaders, whether you’ve been a CEO before or not, to explore if you are to become part of that journey, enabling east to west to grow into the next phase of bringing hope to young lives.

Reporting to: Chair of Board

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hrs pw

Responsible for: 18 paid team + 7 volunteers (currently due to COVID restrictions)

Financially responsible: £400k

Direct Line Management: Head of Operations & Finance; Head of Income & Communications; Head of Schools

Salary: £38k-£45K

This role will largely be based in Egham, Surrey where east to west's offices are located.

east to west are seeking to recruit new trustees to join our team. You must have a desire to bring hope to young lives, be an active member of the local church family and willing to commit to 4 trustee meetings each year as well as engage with our team when and where you can.

As we head into 2021, east to west are looking to strengthen the trustee board and have a particular need for people with an HR and/or legal background. We also view this as an excellent opportunity to grow the diversity within our team, broadening and developing our mixed range of experiences and skills.
