Hospital Project Volunteer
Location: St Petr's Hospital
Hours: Minimum of 1 evening per month (3 hours)
east to west's Hospital project exists to offer emotional support and advocacy to young people who are attending A&E at The Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) because of self-harm or suicidal feelings or actions. The purpose of the role is to take time to get to know the young person, discover what is important to them and help them express their feelings and needs to mental health professionals- being a voice of hope for each young person.
